We welcome you and your furry companion to the Old Town Inn. San Diego is a pet friendly city. You can take your furry companion just about anywhere while touring our town!

There is a $20.00 per pet / per night charge. Maximum of 2 pets per guestroom.

We kindly ask that during your stay with us you adhere to our pet policy. These rules are established not only for the safety of your furry companion, but also for the safety and comfort of our other guests and employees. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more pleasant, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

  • Please keep your pet under control at all times (i.e., no growling or continuous barking).
  • Please keep your pet on a leash whenever outside of your room.
  • Please keep room door always closed when your pet is inside the room.
  • Please pick up after your pet. We have a pet area in the back of property with pick-up baggies.
  • Pets are not allowed in the breakfast room, inside pool or pool area.
  • Please do not leave your pet unattended in your room for an extended period of time.* 
  • While your room is being serviced by housekeeping, leave the room with your pet or place them in a crate. 
  • If room requires excessive cleaning, or if any damages are caused by your pet, you may be charged additional fees. 

SERVICE ANIMALS are not pets, they are working animals. As such, service animals are allowed to accompany the guest in all areas of the property where the public is normally allowed to go. All other rules must be adhered to.

Please contact us at (800) 643-3025, 24 hours before the date of arrival to avoid a one-night no-show fee. When canceling, make sure you receive and keep your cancellation number. On the check-in date, the total amount of the stay, including tax, will be authorized on the debit/credit card used to make the reservation. If you are using a different form of payment at check-out, please be aware that it may take 3-5 business days for your bank to release funds back to the original debit/credit card. Guests are required to show a valid photo ID and debit or credit card upon check-in. A $100 deposit is required for cash-paying guests. A $100 deposit for incidentals is required and will be authorized on the credit card provided at check-in.

Terms & Conditions

The Old Town Inn is a Non-Smoking property. A fee will be charged for smoking inside the room, right outside of rooms, or on walkways. Please ask the front desk about designated smoking areas. If traveling with a Pet or Service Animal, we require that you read and understand our Pet & Service Animal Policy. Pet fee applies. All reservations require a $100 deposit for incidentals, cash or credit card, upon check-in. For cancellations, please call us 24 hours in advance to avoid a 1-night no-show fee. If you book through a 3 rd party service, please contact their customer service directly as required by their cancellation terms.
